On a recent walk with “Bonnie” our Boxer dog it was very cold, very windy and a great day to get some fresh air!  We noticed these Snowdrops and it reminded us of the passage from St Lukes Gospel:

Luke 12: 27 - 28

“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in his entire splendour was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith”

With God’s help the snowdrop comes back year after year through hard frosty soil into cold windy weather and never gives up. We can all learn a lesson from the snowdrops, when things seem hard and difficult we should trust in God to get us through.
